Thanks To Casper, My Bed Feels Hotel-Worthy!
Any of you who know me (or just follow me on Instagram!) know that I’m a terrible sleeper.
It’s rare I’m not replying to emails at 2am or wide-awake at 5am!
The pros: early morning workouts and an occasional sunrise.
The cons: exhaustion.
Over the last week, though, my sleep has been exponentially better – and I can only credit Casper.
Not “the friendly ghost,” for all my other 80s children out there.
The mattress company.
After traveling for work for most of the last 6 weeks, I could not wait to get home and climb into my own cozy bed.
But well, the opposite of “distance makes the heart grow fonder” happened between my mattress and me.
While I once adored my soft-in-some-spots, hard-in-others and generally contoured to my body mattress that I had had since graduating college, upon my return I realized how detrimental the once sentimental lumps and bumps really were to my quality of sleep.
What can I say: there’s something about nice hotel beds that make you appreciate a great mattress!
It wasn’t long ago that I was coincidently invited to an event hosted by Casper mattress where I fell in love with the one-size-fits-all approach to mattresses. No more lying on random mattresses in retail stores trying to pretend you’re sleeping. No more debating between hard and soft in contrived conditions. Just a great mattress that, like in a nice hotel, really does make everyone (or at least this gal!) happy.
Needless to say, the moment I realized that I needed a new mattress, I knew which one I wanted: a Casper.
A few quick details sorted out later (the size, delivery date, and a donation of my old mattress to Salvation Army) and it was a matter of days before my mattress arrived rolled up in a box.
I was a bit nervous about being able to DIY this (hey, I may be their DIY beauty gal, but getting my new mattress on the box spring seemed a bit daunting) but it was actually pretty easy to do on my own.
That night, I slept like a baby. Like literally, from 10pm to 6am!
My body feels great, my back doesn’t hurt like it used to, and I’m ecstatic to climb into bed every night.
If you’re in the market for a new mattress (and you should change yours every 7-10 years), I highly recommend Casper. They’re affordable, comfortable, and really (for me anyway!) make my bed feel like a 5-star hotel! Plus, delivery is free too. And, if you’re not a fan for some reason, you have 100 days (er, nights) to change your mind for a hassle free return!

PS. If you’re in LA, Casper has a popup on Abbot Kinney in Venice from now until January 6 where consumers can stop by and check out the universally comfortable mattress in person.
Casper provided me with a mattress in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
