She’s the host of E! News, a red carpet staple and a reality TV superstar. But while Giuliana Rancic’s life may, from the outside, seem to be all about glamour (and it is certainly glamorous!), Giuliana carries Real Beauty with her through all of her endeavors – even recently launching a website designed to help others lead healthier, happier, more fit lives!
So, we sat down with Giuliana Rancic and asked her to weigh in on Real Beauty.
What do you think makes someone beautiful?
This may be obvious but I really do think that what is on the inside counts more than what is on the outside. Although we do have fabulous beauty tips on FabFitFun like must-have make-up, DIY facials, and hair care secrets, we are really about feeling good from the inside out. We recently did a feature on confidence boosting tips that I thought was really amazing. I think confidence and a good sense of humor makes every woman beautiful.
How do you deal with the pressure for body perfection in our culture?
Hollywood is hard and there is definitely a ton of pressure to be thin. I work hard to look and feel my best and try to forget about the rest. I think I created FabFitFun to get away from all of the craziness. It’s a place that promotes a happy, healthy lifestyle. Although we all know looking good is great, the truth is that feeling good is even better. FabFitFun is filled with tips to feel good from the inside out.
When do you feel the most beautiful?
I really feel the most beautiful when I am with Bill. There’s something about the way he can just look at me that makes me feel amazing. That said, I do love getting dressed up and going all super glam. My hair and makeup team have become some of best friends and they always make me look fab before a big event! Melissa Brown does my hair and Cat Connelly does my makeup.
If you could give your younger self advice about beauty, what would it be?
Stay out of the sun and drink lots of water!
What is your one, can’t-live-without-it beauty product?
DDF Revolve 400x.
Who is your beauty role model?
My mom. She’s beautiful, strong, independent, grounded, smart and just an overall amazing woman. And I’m glad she still can’t send me to my room.
