Amanda Russell was closing in on the Beijing Olympics for the 10,000m when she suffered a career-ending femur injury. Told she would never run again, she began experimenting with metabolic training as a way to maintain her runner’s body – she was determined to continue exercising her passion for fitness without having to lace up her sneakers. Amazed at metabolic training’s transformative power, she developed The AR Program, a customized workout regimen based on the framework she practiced as an elite athlete.

Alongside her work teaching and inspiring others to realize their health and fitness goals via The AR Program, Amanda is the creator of ARFit, one of the fastest growing fitness and lifestyle channels on YouTube. She was recently selected as “YouTube’s Next Fitness Personality.”  Armed with invaluable experience as an elite athlete, an MBA in Marketing and a passion for helping people realize their dreams, Amanda’s goal is to show people that fitness is about so much more than JUST exercise.

Amanda is also a spokesperson for both ZICO Coconut Water and LIVESTRONG WOMEN on YouTube. She has also been designated as New The Plaza Hotel’s “Bridal Fitness Expert.”

I am bold… because I go after my goals regardless of the obstacles in the way.

I am brilliant… in my variety of food and fashion choices.

I am beyond the bullshit… of judgment, we are all different and that’s what makes the world brilliant.
