Anita Mirchandani, M.S, R.D, C.D.N received a B.A. from NYU and a M.S. in Clinical Nutrition from NYU. When she moved to New York City, she had always battled with her weight. After graduating from NYU in 2004, she became passionate about taking group fitness classes –so much that she became certified in Indoor Cycling in 2006. As her experience and confidence grew, she continued to pursue additional certifications in Group Exercise, Kickboxing and Personal Training. Her exposure to the fitness industry motivated her to apply to the NYU master’s program in Clinical Nutrition. After finishing her studies and completing a dietetic internship at New York-Presbyterian hospital in 2011, Anita is now a practicing Registered Dietitian. Recently, Anita co-founded FitMapped, a directory to help users find fitness easily as well as a social platform for fitness enthusiast.
