Fall Scoop: NYC’s 7 Best Fitness Classes

Looking for a new workout now that cooler temps have you bundling up and skipping out on your outdoor favorites?

Look no further.

We’ve scoured NYC and found 7 killer workouts that will keep your fit and active all fall and winter long!

Fhitting Room FHIXtreme. It’s like their Signature FHIX class on steroids! This advanced level class relies on kettlebells (think Russian and American swings and figure 8s), plyometrics (think box jumps and full burpees) and running so it’s not for the faint of heart.

Exceed Fitness Summit BeOn Combo. Love kickboxing (or just have some major stress you want to punch and sweat away?!), this kickbox fusion class blends impact kickboxing with a variety of training tools including TRX, kettlebells, bodyweight exercises, and more.

Torque Cycling. If you love spinning, check out thisnew cycling studio. The space offers cycling and yoga classes allowing for a perfectly paired 30/30 combination of cycling and yoga class. You won’t want to miss out on this Brooklyn sweat experience.

Pure Barre. They’re all about the Lift.Tone.Burn. and with two locations in NYC, there’s no reason not to try the 55 minute class. New to Pure Barre? Take advantage of their intro special!

CrossFit Brick New York. It’s one of the newest CrossFit studios to hit the scene, but that’s not the only reason we’re a fan. Try their Triple X™ high-energy 60-minute class that blends a fast-paced cardio workout with high interval weight training. Similar to boot camp or a sport clinic, this class is perfect for the athlete looking for a non-stop, action-packed hour.  FYI: the offer a free intro class on Saturdays at 11:45AM.

Chaise23. For all the Pilates fans out there, this chair-based class is for you. Looking to take your Pilates to whole new level? Try their Chair – TRX Combo which combines the reinvention chair with the strengthening capabilities of TRX Suspension Training.

Pure Power Bootcamp. If you’ve ever wondered if you could handle a military workout, now is a good time to test it out and Pure Power Bootcamp is the only military style obstacle/confidence course in NY (so far!). With all of these obstacle races, you definitely won’t get bored! There are plenty of class times on the schedule, so take advantage.
