These little guys are super easy and super addictive. And, they’re great for a party or just a fun family feast.
AMAZING Apple Pie Rolls
2 Large Granny Smith Apples • 2 Cans Pillsbury Crescents
1/3 Cup Sugar
1/4 Teaspoon Apple Pie Spice • 1 Cup Powdered Sugar
1 Teaspoon Milk
1/8 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Peel the two granny smith apples, dice them into small chunks and place them into a mixing bowl. Add the sugar and apple pie spice. Give the mixture a quick toss to coat all of the apples.
On a baking sheet, place a piece of wax paper and spray a light layer of non-stick spray. Now, unroll the crescent roll triangles on your working surface. Spoon a tablespoon of the apple mixture on to the wide part of the triangle. Roll the dough, starting with the wide part, around the apples. Repeat this for all of the rolls. Place them evenly on the baking sheet. Bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes, until the rolls are golden brown.
While the rolls are baking, start the icing. In a small mixing bowl, combine the powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk. Stir the icing until the desired consistency.
When the rolls are finished, drizzle the icing over the warm rolls.
