Next time you’re craving a tuna sandwich, make this healthy salmon salad sandwich recipe instead.

It’s not only a more grown-up version of your childhood favorite, it’s anti-aging too since it’s packed with omega-3 fatty acids.

Plus, with the arugula and sauerkraut it tastes more sophisticated too.

Oh, and it only takes about 5 minutes to make – so no excuses!

Healthy Salmon Salad Sandwich Recipe

2 slices Udi’s Gluten-Free Whole Grain Bread
1 can wild, boneless salmon
1 Tbsp healthy mayonnaise or veganaise (look for the fewest ingredients possible)
Salt + pepper, to taste
1/4 cup arugula
3-4 Tbsp raw sauerkraut

Lightly toast the Udi’s Gluten-Free bread. Meanwhile, drain the salmon and mix it in a small bowl with the mayonnaise or veganaise. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Once the bread is toasted, divide the arugula between the two pieces of toast. Top each slice with half of the salmon mixture. Add the sauerkraut on top and serve immediately.

It’s like a grown up, omega-3 fatty acid packed, anti-aging tuna sandwich!
