Immunity-Boosting Super Green Smoothie Recipe
1 cup Leafy Greens (we used spinach, kale and arugula)
1 cup Non-Dairy Milk (we used Silk unsweetened cashew milk)
1/4 Granny Smith Apple
1/4 Hass Avocado
1/2 tbsp Nut Butter (we used MaraNatha all-natural almond butter)
2 tsp Whole Grain Oats
1/2 tsp Organic Sweetener (we used Pyure stevia powder)
1/4 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Ground Ginger
Peel and quarter the avocado. Set aside 1/4, then place the remaining 3/4 in plastic wrap and refrigerate.
Wash and quarter the apple, leaving the skin on (you know…just keeping with that green theme!). As with the avocado, set aside 1/4, then place the remaining 3/4 in plastic wrap and refrigerate.
Slice the apple and avocado quarters that you set aside into bite-size chunks.
Place the apple, avocado, and all of the remaining ingredients in a blender and cover the top.
Puree until the texture is smooth and creamy.
