By Diana Zarowin

Well then this is the perfect article for you! Mini treats are super in right now. Not only do they satisfy that sweet urge, but they are also so adorable to look at! Whether entertaining for ten or keeping it simple with just you, mini desserts are the way to go!

Now, here’s what it all comes down to: to buy or to bake? Here at The Beauty Bean we’ve done some research (yup, it’s a tough job, but someone’s gotta do it) and found that either option works, depending on your cooking style! So, here are our top picks…

To Buy…

To Bake…

If you like to customize your desserts and think outside the sweet tooth box – have no fear, this trend is still doable! Mini desserts can be just as easily prepared at home as they can be bought in stores. Just pick your favorite dessert recipe and get ready to enjoy!

Want to make sure you don’t burn your tiny treats? Make sure to adjust the temperature and the baking time for your minis! The temperature should be decreased by approximately 25 degrees and the baking time should be kept at less than 15-18 minutes. After 15 minutes of baking, stick a toothpick or fork into the center and see if it comes out clean. If it does, shut off the oven and let your desserts cool for five minutes before eating. If any batter comes off on your toothpick, let desserts cook for longer time, monitoring them every five minutes.

Going mini is a great way to entertain, no matter the group size! So, get your recipes ready and start entertaining right now!
