Spring 2015 Beauty Trends

As we’re marching close towards spring (at least in some parts of the country!), we’re already looking forward to exciting and chic beauty looks that are perfect for the warmer months.

And to share our springtime excitement, we’ve round up our favorite beauty buddies to dish on the spring 2015 beauty trends they can’t wait to try!

The Spring 2015 Beauty Trends The Experts Are Most Excited About

Anna De La Souza, On-Air Beauty Expert
“I’m so looking forward to tackling the fuzzy low pony this year. This ethereal and deconstructed look was seen on the Fendi S/S 2015 runway and looks so fresh and together, despite its attempt to look otherwise! The trick here is to make the front half inch of your hairline neat by brushing it smooth with a toothbrush. The fuzz should live on the crown and through the lengths.”

Aly Walansky, ALittleAlyTude.com
“I’m all about the furthering of the express beauty salons – we already blowout bars, and makeup bars, and lash extensions bars – but now you can walk in and get hair extensions! I’m obsessed with the new RPZL in Chelsea!”

Assunta Catalano, Social Media Coordinator At Fragrancenet.com
“Anyone with thick, long hair knows it doesn’t take a few minutes to blow dry, let alone style.  That’s why, I’m still loving the timeless braid beauty trend. Seen on the runway from Michael Kors to Donna Karan and Peter Som, braids are in and totally acceptable. And if I’m feeling too Katniss Everdeen, I can simply unravel my braid and have beautiful wavy, kinky hair until days end.”

Alex Tizeno, Gritstyle
The sleek ponytail is the beauty trend we’re most excited to execute this spring. Polished and glossy is best — and it’s a look we saw flawlessly executed on runways last fall during fashion week. Sleek and loose or braided, it’s the perfect way to draw out a killer eye look and a sophisticated anecdote to those humid summer days and nights we have in the south!”

Grace Gold, Beauty Journalist
“The increasing popularity of adding more organic, whole foods rich in nutrients like kale to your diet is translating to the beauty industry this year in a big way. We’re seeing unexpected ingredients like quinoa, chia, activated charcoal, and kale in product formulations. Some examples that are leading the charge are Paul Mitchell’s Color Repair Line with quinoa, Yes to Activated Charcoal Bath Soap, and Nails Inc Nailkale polish with kale to strengthen nails.”

Dip-dye hairstyles are back in 2015. Come spring, this popular celebrity look (read: Kylie Jenner’s green tips) will be a really big deal. But, if you’re like me and not up for bleaching and the damage it will cause, try a temporary color or hair chalk. This will allow you to still be “that girl” and keep your tresses healthy.”

Lara Eurdolian, Pretty Connected & In His Clothes
“We’re seeing a lot of carry over beauty trends from 2014 including three of my favorites, bold red lips, strong brows and braids (which will continue to evolve in 2015). As far as something new for this year, I’m excited about the negative space manicures!”
