Hair How To: 70s Inspired Soft Curls At Tracey Reese

How To DIY 70s Inspired Soft Curls As Seen At Tracey Reese

If we were to describe the overarching theme of spring’s fashion and beauty trends in one word (well, one hyphenated word,) it would be ‘70s-inspired. We’re loving the wedge sandals, fresh-faced makeup looks, flowing maxi skirts and hippie-influenced hair (minus the dirty, unwashed factor anyway).

Designer Tracy Reese nailed the retro style, creating what she described as a stylish look typical of fashionable jetsetters of the ‘70s. And her hair team – lead by TRESemmé Celebrity Stylist Jeanie Syfu – completed the look with stunning soft waves parted in the center.

To get this retro, carefree style at home, following these simple steps.

–  Apply TRESemmé Naturals Lightweight Mousse to damp hair to create a foundation for this look

–  Making a deep center part and using a blow-dryer and a round brush, smooth hair at the top with slight lift at the crown

–  Curl sections from mid-shaft to ends with a 1 ½ inch barrel curling iron to create loose waves

–  Spray TRESemmé 24 Hour Body Finishing Spray on each section after curling to keep the waves in place
