Conceal Any Blemish With These 2 Tips
Makeup artists have a trick few of us really know about – or at least don’t know how to utilize well: the color wheel – and, if used correctly, it can revolutionize your makeup routine – or the results anyway!
Here’s the deal: colors that are opposite from one another on the color wheel cancel each other out. Use this trick when applying your makeup and you’ll be able to literally erase the redness of a zit or the purple under your eyes, without caking on the makeup, layer after layer.
Bottom line: when it comes to learning how to conceal any blemish like a pro, the color wheel is about to be your new BFF.
But don’t you worry, lady – there’s no need to cram for a color theory quiz. Instead, remember these two tips and you’ll be well on your way to a flawless looking complexion stat!
How To Conceal Any Blemish Like A Pro: The 2 Tips You Need To Know
Conceal red with green. Whether you have red eyes or a red pimple, go green! Look for a concealer or powder with a mint green tint and apply it sparingly to counteract any facial redness. Apply your usual foundation on top and you’ll be red-free without layering on the makeup.
Conceal blue with orange. Under eye circles and bruises fade fast with a bit of orange. Look for a powder or concealer that’s more oompa-loompa than your natural skintone and apply it over any blue tones. Follow with the rest of your usual makeup routine for a flawless finish fast!
