Eyebrows On Fleek: How To Fill In Your Brows, Naturally

How To Get Eyebrows On Fleek

We’ve all seen brows go oh, so wrong.

From over-plucked to seemingly magic-markered on, there are so many ways for brows to go bad.

So how’s a gal to get eyebrows on fleek and ensure that her brows are on point at all times?

We asked Emilia Berry an expert in eyebrow grooming and a permanent makeup artist to share some of her top tips. From finding the right hue to picking the right product, here’s all you need to know about filling in your brows beautifully!

How to choose the right color to fill in your brows:

If you have light hair… select a color one or two shades darker than your hair color.

If you have dark hair… select a color one or two shades lighter than your hair color.

How to choose the ideal product to fill in your brows:

You should use a eyebrow pencil if… you are either a beginning to the brow game or you have dry, mature skin since pencils are very blendable and easy to apply. Just make sure to choose a pencil that is neither too soft nor too hard, as a soft pencil will smear too much and a dry pencil will pull on the existing hairs. And always make sure to sharpen an eyebrow pencil before use.

You should use a brow powder if… you have oily or normal skin – or want the most natural look. When done properly, the powder technique creates the most natural eyebrow look and offers easy control of the amount of color placed in the eyebrows.

You should use a brow gel if… you’re a very experienced brow diva since the highly concentrated color has to be applied very precisely and lightly to achieve a natural look. If not, the result will be too bold and harsh.
