Perfect Party Makeup As Seen At Alice + Olivia

By Alix Turoff

Whether you have a party to go to or just want to have some fun with your makeup, the look at Alice + Olivia is one that you have to try. With a combination of dewy faces and crazy, bold eyes, this look perfect for a special occasion or just for beating out the winter blues.

We sat down with Sarah Lucero of Stila to learn how to get the look at home.

How To DIY Alice + Olivia’s Party Makeup

Start with a base… Lucerno recommends starting with Stila’s oil-free Sheer Color Tinted Moisturizer ($16) to even out your skin tone. Follow up with One Step Correct ($36), a very light formula that hides imperfections, fills pores, hydrates the skin and controls oil production, making it not only great for the runway but also for a party that lasts into the wee hours of the morning. Then, use the Brighten and Correct Concealer ($28) under the eyes to brighten up a tired face after a long work week.

On the cheeks… Lucerno used Stila’s Convertible Color in Gerbera ($25), a terra cotta color that accentuates the cheekbones on the models at Alice + Olivia. This lipstick and blush in one gives all skin tones a sheer, earthy and glowy look, perfect for a party or even a day at the office.

For the eyes… Lucero started with Stila’s Eye Shadow in Chinois ($18), which served as a neutral canvas for building dramatic color. She then built up the color using Mystic ($18), a highly pigmented greenish-blue that went perfectly with the garden party theme of the show. Next, load on the Sparkle Eyeliner in Electric ($22) to accentuate the Mystic eye shadow shade while adding an element of drama before lining the lower lids with the Kajal eyeliner in Topaz ($18), a nude color that brings back some of the earthiness of the look. Finish off the eyes with Stay All Day Liquid Eyeliner in Intense Black ($20). We love the thin marker tip which makes it really easy to apply and the inky quality of the application.

On the lips… Finally, using the Convertible Color in Lillium ($25), swipe some natural color to the lips to complete the look.
