10 Easy Ways To Boost Your Libido: How To Put Your Sex Drive In Overdrive

If your sex drive is stuck in 1st gear (and you want put it in overdrive), read on! According to Celebrity Trainer and Fitness expert, Joy Di Palma, the female libido can be increased very easily with a few minor lifestyle changes, the right menu and regular exercise.

Ladies, here’s how to make it happen…

Kegels, Kegels, Kegels. Strengthen your pelvic muscles. Pelvic floor exercises (Kegel exercises) can improve your awareness of the muscles involved in pleasurable sexual sensations and increase your libido. To perform these exercises, tighten your pelvic muscles as if you’re stopping a stream of urine. Hold for a count of five, relax and repeat. Do these exercises several times a day. You can do these when you’re walking, resting, watching TV and even on a date or at your desk – Samantha Jones, Sex and the City style!

Be a Yogi. The Kneeling Core Plank pose is particularly good for the female increasing sex drive.  Start on your hands and knees. Spread your fingers wide, fingertips firm into the mat to ignite the arm muscles. Keep your hips squared, inhale and lift your right leg high. Exhale and sweep your knee to chest, rounding your back to engage the abs. As you do this, squeeze and lift your pelvic floor muscles like during a Kegel exercise. Repeat this motion with a few slow breaths on each side. Press hips back to your heels in Child’s Pose for a moment, then switch sides.
