2015 Can STILL Be Your Year!

Already lost steam on your new year’s resolutions? Now’s the time to revive your 2015 goals and commit to living your best year ever.

Here’s how…

If you’re stressed out… Start mediating. The once hippie-dippie practice of sitting (or laying) still and being one with your self has gone mainstream. Heck, even corporate America is catching on. Whether you can’t think of anything better than letting go for a few or the thought of sitting still for more than 30 seconds makes your skin crawl, meditation is for you! Here’s how to get started.

If you want to eat more healthfully…Set yourself up for success. If I get home at the end of the day starving with nothing healthy to put in my mouth in under 2 minutes, well, you’ll find me elbow deep in a jar of almond butter. To prevent this from happening (well, more than once a week, anyway!), I head to the supermarket every Sunday and load up on fresh (and frozen!) fruit and vegetables to ensure I always have healthy food ready to go. And when I get home from the market, I start roasting in bulk so I have Tupperware full of roasted Brussels sprouts, broccoli, and more ready for munching!

On days when I can’t make it for my usual workout, I make sure to check how many steps I’ve walked throughout the day so I can make sure I get enough movement in. On days when I’m far from the recommended 10,000 steps I find myself pacing while on conference calls or taking Zoe (my dog!) for just another lap around the block.

If you want to drink more water….Spruce it up! So many of us struggle to drink enough water because it’s BORING! Take your water to flavor packed places by infusing it with fresh or frozen fruit or try this recipe.
