DIY Project Idea: 4 Things To Do With Empty Candle Holders

When you’re burned out and at wick’s end – candle style, of course (we mean, if you’ve been reading The Beauty Bean with any sense of regularity – which you should, obviously! – you most definitely won’t be burned out or at wit’s end in your life… just sayin’)… But we digress. Back to candles…

Most of us, when our candles have burned down low – and out – toss the pretty candle holders that were once home to our favorite home scents. When your candles, though, are too pretty to trash, here are 4 creative uses for your now empty candle holders:

4 DIY Projects Using Empty Candle Holders

Turn empty candle holders into gorgeous desk organizers. A collection of beautiful empty candle holders makes for an ideal way to organize your desk. Designate one for pens, one for pencils, one for scissors and other tools and use a small votive holder to collect small items like paperclips.

Organize your makeup brushes with glamour. Rather than tossing your makeup brushes in a makeup bag or plastic cup, instead keep them organized in empty candle holders. Your bathroom will look instantly more sophisticated and glamorous.

Plant flowers. Every home should have a bit of nature in it – and while not all of us were blessed with green thumbs, we can all tap into our inner 5 year old and plant a simple flower like we did in our kindergarten classrooms.

Refill the candle holders. Candles are expensive. Wax, however, not so much. Instead of replacing your pricy candle, you can order wax, add some essential oils and make your our DIY candle in your empty candle holder.
