Fashion’s Night Out & Fashion’s Night Out Fashion Show: Mark Your Calendars, Buy Your Tickets!
As Mercedes Benz Fashion Week fast approaches, our (days and) nights are increasingly and constantly filled with dreams of snagging those luxury front row seats. Last year, though, with the launch of Fashion’s Night Out, the fashion world opened its doors even to those of us without coveted credentials. And, (thank goodness!) this year they’re doing it again – nationally!

A night where stores remain open after hours to celebrate fashion, boost the industry’s economy and raise awareness of and funds for the New York City AIDS Fund, Fashion’s Night Out was, needless to say, a monumental hit. Designers, celebrities, models, and fashion editors came together to put together fun-filled events in over 800 stores in NYC alone. This year, on September 10, Fashion’s Night Out is only going to be bigger and better with nearly 1,000 retailers, designers, beauty brands and celebrities orchestrating special events, across the globe!

In addition to events in individual stores on September 10, this year, for the first time, Vogue and SPEC Entertainment will be hosting a massive runway show at Lincoln Center on September 7, to kick off the focus on fashion week. Models like Daria Werbowy, Chanel Iman and 150 other models will be dressed to the nines in the latest, current trends selected by Vogue’s editors in the space that, later in the week, will become home to the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week tents.

The best part about the show, it’s open to the public! (Yes, take a minute to re-read that sentence!) So, ladies and gentleman, put on your chicest outfit and trendiest accessories and get ready for a night you won’t forget. Tickets, which also donate a portion of proceeds to the AIDS fund, start at $25 and can be picked up at the Lincoln Center box office or at LincolnCenter.org/Fno beginning on August 19.
In case you can’t make it, CBS will be filming an hour–long special following around designers and celebrities behind the scenes, working to put together this exciting evening. The segment will be airing September 14, at 10 p.m. EST.
Until then, stay up to date by following Fashion’s Night Out on twitter @fnonyc.
