Organic Beauty Products: Om Aroma & Co. Beauty Bar at Limelight Marketplace Pampers Natually
By Marsi Shapiro
Today was no ordinary day at The Beauty Bean. Rather than sitting at our desks, running around to meetings and trying too-many-too-count beauty products (okay, that last one’s not so hard, but you get the idea!), today we took a trip to relaxation central – and boy did we need it. After getting caught in a torrential downpour, we finally made it to the Om Aroma & Co. Beauty Bar quite drenched, but nonetheless excited for our morning of pampering.
As we arrived at Limelight Marketplace, (the location of Om Aroma & Co.’s newest outpost,) we were immediately met with the soothing sounds and scents of the award winning anti-aging organic spa and skincare line. Relaxation immediately set in. We were in for a real treat: a soothing facial massage that would leave our skin radiant and our face fresh and clean, perfect in the midst of summer’s rampant heat and humidity.
10 tricks to stop sweating through your makeup!
Our facial massage experience began with the Elixir de Beaute Organic Champagne Cleanser ($38). (Who knew there were other uses for champagne besides toasting?!) The cleanser was used to gently exfoliate and stimulate circulation before an individualized Clay Mask, made right on the spot and specifically designed for our particular skin type, was applied. (Because the Clay Masks are customized for every client, they are only available at Spa Locations and at the Beauty Bar in New York City, which is Om Aroma & Co.’s only retail store location.) Once the Clay Mask had hydrated and detoxified our pores, it was time to tackle the eyes – and, trust us, they needed tackling! Extrait de Caviar Organic Eye Cream ($58) was gently dotted to repair the delicate tissue around our eyes and protect our skin from future damage. Lastly, we were one of the lucky ones able to test out Om Aroma & Co.’s new Red Raspberry Serum, an age-defying organic face cream launching this September (which you’ll want to try pronto!).
Get rid of under-eye circles for good!
While we highly recommend stopping by the Beauty Bar for their quick and affordable organic Champagne Face Fix ($35), which includes the aforementioned facial and the products, if you don’t feel like making a trip to the Beauty Bar or don’t live nearby, you still can get gorgeous skin in record time. In fact, what we love most about this skincare line is that it caters to the everyday busy woman. Our top pick: the 1 Minute Ritual to Radiant Skin ($129). With only 3 easy steps (that you can complete in just 60-seconds flat), the set purifies with an organic cleanser formulated with grape seeds from the Champagne Valley, hydrates with a cream that reverses signs of aging with white truffle extract and repairs with an eye cream that strengthens skin with caviar extract. And what could be easier than a 1 minute skincare routine?
