A Super Cheap + Easy Way To Whiten Your Teeth (Without Sensitivity!)

No, You Don’t Need Expensive Teeth Whitening Products. Use This Instead.

Want whiter teeth, like, now?

Yeah, you’re definitely not alone.

And while we do love our Crest WhiteStrips (and not just because they’re WAY more glamorous and less messy than our DIY trick, but also because they’re travel-friendly), when we’re home, in a pinch, and looking for a quick and cheap fix, it’s all about the baking soda.

Yes, the same baking soda you keep in your fridge to absorb smells (and maybe even bake with sometimes!) is a killer teeth whitener.

Heck, Arm & Hammer has a whole whitening toothpaste line based on it!

The reason why we love it best: it’s insanely tough on stains while being incredible gentle on our usually sensitive teeth. Oh, and it’s like pennies per use.

Winning and whitening in one!

2 Ways To Whiten Your Teeth Cheaply With Baking Soda

1.  Keep a salt shaker full of baking soda (or just buy this) in your bathroom and lightly sprinkle your pre-moistened and toothpaste-covered toothbrush before brushing. You can do this nightly to maintain some serious sparkle.

2.  Put a tablespoon of baking soda in a small bowl. Moisten your toothbrush and dip it in the baking soda to coat. Gently brush the fronts of your teeth, repeatedly dipping the toothbrush, as needed. Be careful to avoid scrubbing too vigorously, which could irritate your gums.
