DIY Beauty Recipe: Lemon + Mint Blemish Buster
Handful fresh mint leaves
1 tsp lemon juice
Pulse ingredients in a food processor and cover the blemish with the paste for 15 minutes before rinsing. Repeat twice a day until the spot is gone.
“Peppermint contains menthol and menthone, compounds that reduce redness and inflammation,” says Dr. Bonanni. While the acid in the lemon juice “temporarily changes the pH of your skin, preventing bacteria growth.”
