Whether your skin is already Sahara-like or just on it’s way to drier lands, this DIY face mask will bring your complexion to dewy new lands STAT!

WithΒ avocado and honey, both of which work to moisturize dry skin, and oatmeal to balance and calm reactive, red, and sensitive skin (and exfoliate it too, but more on that later!) this mask is just what your seasonally dry skin needs.

DIY Face Mask For Dry Skin

1 ripe avocado
2 Tablespoons raw, organic honey
ΒΌ-cup uncooked oatmeal

Combine the avocado and honey until smooth before mixing in the oatmeal. If you have very sensitive skin, blend the oatmeal to a fine consistency first.

Apply a medium layer to your face and let sit for 10-15 minutes.

To exfoliate away dry, dull skin, after allowing the homemade facial mask recipe to sit for 10-15 minutes, use gentle circular motions to scrub your face, using the oatmeal as a manual exfoliator.

Rinse with warm water to reveal hydrated, smoother skin.
