When it comes to anti-aging skincare, under eye wrinkles are my kryptonite. While it seems like all the other areas of my face respond well to antioxidant serums, hydrating gels, daytime lotions, night creams, peptides, retinols and, well, anything and everything else on the market designed to keep me looking not a day older than 21 for the foreseeable future (I wanted to say “forever” but don’t want to jinx it!).

Under eye wrinkles – that creping skin that seems to be texturally changing by the day – however, I’m never quite sure about. Sure, they all seem to moisturize and temporarily plump dehydrated skin making fine lines appear less pronounces but I’ve never really been sure any of them are working to turn back the hands of time and prevent further aging under my eyes until I tried SkinCeuticals A.G.E. Eye Complex.

Designed to diminish the effects of glycation (the process by which sugars in your diet cause your skin’s collagen and elastin to weaken, resulting in fine lines, wrinkles, loss of radiance and even increased susceptibility to the  harmful effects of UV exposure) as well as to fend off dark circles and puffiness, SkinCeuticals A.G.E. Eye Complex used Proxylane, blueberry extract and a combination of flavinoids and peptides to siultaneously reduce the appearance of existing fine lines and wrinkles and help prevent future ones.

And you know what?

For the first time ever, I actually think I may be seeing results. The fine lines under my eyes are less pronounced (and not only when I apply the SkinCeuticals A.G.E. Eye Complex and it immediately plumps the area, but also, it appears, over time) – and I’m pretty sure it’s not just a result of my wishful thinking!
